Hagerstown Plaza Sidewalks

Extensive use of hand cut joints were used to break up the traditional 5x5 sidewalk pattern with blocks of various dimensions for a pleasing presentation for patrons. To add to the unique sidewalk interpretation, the sidewalk was also designed with a tactile perspective, varying finishes, such as broom, cross-broom, soft trowel, hard trowel and float to create both a visually and tactilely pleasing effect. To achieve the desired effect, MK Concrete had to utilize small pours and skilled craftsmen.
