Riverside Sign

Location: Frederick, Maryland

Description:
The design called for sharply angled walls with a detailed face. Due to sharp unsupported angles, great care had to be taken not only in the reinforcing but also in the forming and stripping of the formwork. The interesting details in the face of the wall had to be hand crafted because there is no formliner made to replicate this detail. The forms were single use because of the different elements making this a one-of-a-kind sign.
