Chuck Brandenburg Presents Seminar At Maryland Ready Mix Concrete Association (MRMCA) Event

Chuck Brandenburg, General Concrete Operations Manager of MK Concrete Construction, recently presented a seminar at MRMCA’s Annual Architect & Engineer Golf Outing on Thursday, September 6th.  Chuck’s seminar titled “Concrete Contractor’s Lessons Learned on Podium Style Buildings” was held at Musket Ridge Golf Club in Myersville, MD.

Podium style buildings typically consist of one or two stories of concrete and then four or five stories of wood framing, metal studs, or structural steel.  During the seminar, Chuck provided his insights on how to increase efficiency when designing and constructing these structures and ultimately, how to save time and money.   The podium form systems that MK Concrete has recently utilized on Messiah Village Retirement Community in Mechanicsburg, PA and Urban Green Apartments in Urbana, MD were shared as case studies.  Chuck has over 20 years of experience in the concrete construction industry and oversees concrete construction operations for MK Concrete’s larger projects.

MRMCA is a proactive Trade Association that represents every Ready Mix Concrete Producer in Maryland in the areas of promotion, legislative, safety, training, education, image, government relations, the environment and technical matters.  For more information, visit www.marylandconcrete.com.
